08.00am Event opening- President of the assocation AI.SAC.SI.SCO Mrs. Cristiana Cattaruzza.
08:50am Introduction- Dr. Francesco Crocé, general practitioner and specialist in respiratory system diseases, patient and Regional representative in Calabria of the AI.SAC.SI.SCO.
The personal experience of a doctor-patient who has undergone the Sectioning of the Filum Terminale (SFT) surgery.
09:30am Coffee break.
09:50am Presentation- Dr. Miguel B. Royo Salvador Neurosurgeon and Neurologist. Director of ICSEB.
Results of cases operated by means of the Sectioning of the Filum Terminale: the chronic, acute and subclinical Neuro-Cranio-Vertebral Syndrome.
12:00am Presentation- Mrs. Gioia Luè, Psychologist, surgical patient care of ICSEB.
The SFT and patients quality of life with Medullar Traction Syndrome before and after the surgery.

04-05:00pm Roundtable: “Arnold Chiari I Syndrome, idiopathic Syringomyelia and Scoliosis and the Sectioning of the filum terminale: the route of the surgical patient“.
05:00pm DIAGNOSTIC ORIENTATION AT DISTANCE: Attendants interested may bring along their clinical documentation (copies of MRIS on cd and photocopies of medical reports) to leave with the ICSEB team. Once back in Barcelona, Dr. Royo Slavador´s and the medical team´s assessment will be informed of as soon as possible.
