Sofiia is a patient from Russia with Arnold-Chiari Syndrome Type I and Syringomyelia. She found out about her diagnosis, when she started suffering from headaches and pain all over her body, which kept her from sleeping. One day, searching on the Internet, she discovered the Institute Chiari and decided to travel to Barcelona for an in-person consultation. During the visit she asked questions to the doctor and could clear her doubts. Sofiia decided to undergo surgery. The whole process took 3 days. Immediately after the intervention, Sofiia felt changes: her headaches, the pain in her knees and the nausea disappeared.

Now, one month after, she feels like new. Sofiia is grateful and happy for having found the Institute Chiari de Barcelona and recommends that patients with similar diagnoses do not endure the pain.
