We are pleased to announce that the research and development activity of our Institute have once again received official certification from ACIE for the 2024 fiscal year, issued on 10 July 2025.

This certification recognises the study project carried out during the period period, titled “Research into new clinical methods for neurological disorders in Filum Disease (FD)”. The project challenges established paradigms in neurology and neurosurgery, proposing an integrative and pathophysiologically grounded approach with the potential to transform the diagnosis, treatment, and understanding of neuro-cranio-spinal syndromes of phylogenetic origin.

It further highlights that it addresses an unmet medical need in the field of neurological disorders associated with FD, with the potential to significantly improve the diagnosis and treatment of these complex conditions.

We take great pride in this recognition  and warmly congratulate Dr Miguel B. Royo-Salvador and the entire R&D&I Department for once again achieving this milestone, and for their continued dedication to advancing knowledge of the Neuro-Cranio-vertebral Syndrome and developing new clinical strategies for its diagnosis and treatment.
