Hi, we are Manuel and Silvia, father and daughter, from Madrid. We both underwent the sectioning of the Filum Terminale, Silvia in 2014 and Manuel in 2010. In November 2019 we returned to the Institut for a check-up. In our case, many of the symptoms we both had disappeared, like the lack of temperature sensitivity, lack of strength in the hands and others. Now we can enjoy a better quality of life and we would like to thank the Institut Chiari & Siringomielia & Escoliosis de Barcelona for all this.
