(…) I wanted to briefly talk about ICSEB’s 10^th anniversary, the Institute that Dr. Royo directs masterfully, as well as his team of collaborators, encouraging people to have a great confidence in the Institut (…) It does not have anything to envy compared to any other kind of centre or in other countries, and I hope that you will continue to do the care work that you do so masterfully, with the teaching activities (…) and with the research activity that you conduct, with the fierce, restless and tenacious spirit of the Institute’s director.

Dr Fabrizio recalls the day when his collaborators wen to meet the ICSEB team for the first time in Barcelona, how many milestones have they encountered together from that moment on and how many obstacles have been overcome until today in their collaboration.

Among other things, the doctors devised the Rehabilitation protocol Mantia-Royo / Royo-Mantia and they have so followed up on many operated patients, despite the distance between both centres.

Hoping that in the future new and further goals can be achieved, he reiterates his congratulations.
