CSEB Note: From childhood onwards the patient has shown headaches of diverse intensity that stayed with her during her adult life. Due to the rebellious nature of the headaches, she is examined and magnetic resonance imaging is carried out and Arnold Chiari type I is diagnosed and the decompressive craniectomy is performed. She experiences transient improvement regarding this problem for the time spam of approximately one year, but the headaches reappear being even more frequent and intense this time around and her quality of life deteriorates in great part also due the additional symptoms of pain in the lower limbs and the sensation of cramps. Victoria consults the Institut Chiari and after studying her case the specialist guidelines are applied by performing the Sectioning of the Filum Terminale in February 2011, from this moment the headaches have improved notoriously as has her quality of life, she feels a happy person taking on new challenges.   Tel.
