Eleven years after undergoing sectioning of the filum terminale according to the Filum System® health method, Mr. Giampiero Ledda shares his personal experience in a video testimonial.
Before receiving thea diagnosis of Filum Disease and Neuro-cranio-vertebral Syndrome—associated with Arnold-Chiari Syndrome Type I— Giampiero recalls experiencing a period of profound depression. The health issues he was experiencing significantly impacted many aspects of his daily life
After consulting Dr. Miguel B. Royo Salvador and his team at the Institut Chiari & Siringomielia & Escoliosis de Barcelona (ICSEB), he received a diagnosis that identified the clinical picture underlying his symptoms. Giampiero subsequently underwent surgical treatment.
In his testimonial, Giampiero describes how, following the procedure, he gradually resumed many of the activities he had previously been unable to enjoy, including working, playing sports, and engaging in physical exertion. He reflects on this change as a return to life.
His story also highlights a significant family dimension. Several members of the Ledda family have likewise received a diagnosis of Filum Disease and sought treatment from the ICSEB team. As Giampiero explains, this journey has included his uncle, son, daughter, sister, and wife. Each family member has had an individual experience, with outcomes varying from person to person. According to Giampiero, they have all reported benefits and improvements in their quality of life.
