According to research conducted at the ICSEB, Filum Disease (FD) is a condition caused by abnormal caudal traction of the entire nervous system, which affects all humans to varying degrees and may contribute to the development of various conditions with previously unknown causes, such as idiopathic syringomyelia, Arnold–Chiari syndrome types I, 0 and 1.5, platybasia, basilar invagination, odontoid retroflexion, brainstem kinking, scoliosis, kyphosis, hyperlordosis and loss of the natural spinal curvature, nocturnal or prolonged enuresis, some cases of fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, disc hernias, Baastrup syndrome, facet joint syndrome, some hormonal alterations, depressive syndrome, and cerebral microinfarcts.
