The Institut Chiari & Siringomielia & Escoliosis de Barcelona was founded in 2008. It is a medical and neurosurgical centre accredited for the application of Filum System\u00ae<\/sup>.<\/p>

It attends the patients with diseases of the spinal column and brain and besides this, also covers an area of high specialization of all the pathologies related to the\u00a0Filum disease<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The ICSEB aims to be an\u00a0International Reference Centre\u00a0<\/strong>for the treatment Filum Disease, spreading internationally the results of our investigations in relation with the cause and new treatment for the diseases that include:\u00a0Arnold Chiari Syndrome I, Syringomyelia, Idiopathic Scoliosis,\u00a0<\/strong>Basilar Impression, Platybasia, Retroflexed Odontoid, Kinking of Brainstem<\/strong>\u00a0and associated diseases like\u00a0herniated cervical\/thoracic\/lumber discs, spinal stenosis and various misalignments of spine of idiopathic origin<\/strong>.<\/p>

Our mission is to cure or alleviate the condition by finding the solution of the patient\u2019s spine and brain disease in the most effective way, using the best technique and making it less invasive with faster recovery and applying it with maximum promptness.<\/p>

We provide a\u00a0highly accurate diagnosis<\/strong>\u00a0and the application of\u00a0minimally invasive treatment techniques,<\/strong>\u00a0retaining the maximum efficiency in order to improve and preserve the patients\u2019\u00a0quality of life<\/strong>.<\/p>

Also, we aim to promote\u00a0ethical behaviour<\/strong>\u00a0in the decision-making in the clinical practice and research by establishing optimized, systematically reviewed intervention protocols that are carefully assessed in the light of the scientific evidence.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
