These neurological and neurosurgical conditions can cause concern for both patients and healthcare professionals, particularly regarding potential risks during pregnancy, the safest delivery method, and the choice of anaesthesia.<\/p>\n
In general, patients with these diagnoses require a medical evaluation prior to pregnancy to determine whether neurosurgical treatment is indicated prior to conception.<\/p>\n
