Filum System® MEDICAL Courses


Audience

The courses are addressed to:

  • Medicine and Surgery professionals: neurosurgeons, neurologists, orthopedians, traumatologists, general practioners, paediatricians, rehabilitators and rheumatologists interested in this new disease concept found under the description Filum Disease and Neuro-Cranio-Vertebral Syndrome.
  • Health Science professionals who are not physicians according to their field (physiotherapy, psychology, nursing, etc). Monographic courses or courses adapted to the necessity of their field in relation to the understanding of the method can be applied.

 
 
 
 

Features and Conditions

The courses are offered periodically with the possibility to organise them in different languages and for groups of professionals with the same characteristics and necessities.

The average duration of a course is that of a working week (Monday to Friday) adaptable according to the participants’ professional necessities.

In order to partake in the courses, it is necessary that you have available in your place of professional activity, centre or office a electronic devise (computer, tablet or smartphone) with:

  • Internet connection and access
  • Standard browser
  • Possibility into Spanish, depending on the language.

 
 
 
 

Title and Accreditation

At the end of the course, the candidate regarded to have completed training will be given a diploma, with the possibility to also be awarded with the physician’s (or psychologist’s, or physiotherapist’s, etc) accreditation of Filum System® partner, to put the clinical method into practice in their centre or home region.

The accreditation involves the stipulation of a of a contract of external professional collaboration with implying the following:

  • The implementation of the computerised platform “Plataforma ICSEB Exterior) for the exchange of the patients’ clinical data..
  • Diagnosis, assessment and referral of the patients to ICSEB.
  • Post-operative follow-up of the patients in their area sent or referred by ICSEB to their external collaborator.

 
 
 
 

Inscriptions

The maximum number of participants is of 6 per course, due to the course’s features that alternate theoretical and practical sessions and it is necessary that the group can enter surgery rooms as well as hospital rooms.

The students will be selected by assessing their academic education and medical specialty in relation to neurosciences. In case of applying with identical credits, the admission process will follow strictly the chronological order of reservation.

During each course, workshops and discussion rounds will be organised, as well as keynote speeches, summaries of specific topics and round tables, depending on the availability of external lecturers and needs.
